Program Educational Objectives

Prepare students with skills and aptitude to design financial management strategies, as well as able to integrate formal academic learning with finance related experiential training to cater the market needs.Provides students with in-depth knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills in financial decision-making, as well as the creation of wealth through managing financial resources. This program also aims at moulding the characteristics and personality of the students by nourishing virtuous attitudes and values, emphasizing on ethics and professionalism, nurturing sensitivity towards various cultures (social responsibility) and motivating the students to engage in life-long education.

Entry Requirement

  • Pass a STPM with a minimum of C+ grades (NGMP 2.33) in any of the 2 subjects with credit in Mathematics and pas Bahasa Inggeris at SPM level, or equivalent qualification; OR
  • Pass a STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid, and credit in Mathematics and pass in Bahasa Inggeris at SPM level; OR
  • Eligibility equivalent to a Diploma in Finance, Banking, Insurance and any related program with ( MQF level 4 and minimum CGPA 2.50); OR
  • Matriculation / Course Eligibility with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 and Pass SPM with credit in Mathematics and Pass in Bahasa Inggeris; OR
  • Pass the UEC with at least a Grade B in five (%) courses including Mathematics and pass in English; OR
  • Obtain a Malaysia Vocational Diploma (DVM) from an institution recognized by the Government of Malaysia and the University Senate in any of the following (1) area: – Insurance – Banking – Accounting AND
  • Pass the Vocational Certificate Malaysia (SVM) equivalent to 3 Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) credits for candidates earning: – Honors in Bahasa Melayu 1104 – Academic CGPA > 2.0 and – Vocational CGPA > 2.67 – Competent in all vocational module
  • Other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

International Entry Requirement

Students must have score a minimum of 6.0 IELTS or equivalent.
