ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the Senate; OR
- A bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment as accepted by the Senate; OR
- A bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment as accepted by the Senate; OR
- A bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to a passing pre-requisite course as accepted by the Senate; OR
- Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.
- English Language Requirements (for international students): International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or its equivalent and score of 500 for Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) or minimum Band 4 in MUET.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The MBA programme consists of 40 credit hours, including:
- Core Courses: Strategic Management, Managerial Economics for Decision Making, Organisational Behaviour, Business Research Method
- Specialisation Courses (General Management): Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Entrepreneurship, Quality and Change Management, Cross Cultural Management, International Trade and Business
- Elective Courses (Choose 2 only): Corporate Finance, Management Information System, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Malaysian Business Law
- Research Project I and Research Project II
There are three intakes per year: April, August and November. Completion of a minimum of 13 courses: 4 core courses, 2 electives, 1 specialisation, 1 research project
DURATION OF STUDY
- Full Time: 18 months – 36 months
- Part-Time: 24 months – 48 months
